OUR PROJECTS/ACTIVITIES
All our interventions are made possible with the sole sponsorship/partnership of members of GOSA Set’76 who are our Founders. Actions have been well tailored to fit into the organization’s set aims and objectives to ensure we do not derail from the core mandate. Our proposals and interventions have direct bearing on impacting the lives of indigent members of the set and society at large in the following areas;
“Accelerating Socio- Economic efforts of the Nigerian Woman for increase access to resources and security”. It is designed to reach a group of 50 women within an activity over a period of 3 weeks under a proposed budget. Activities are based on their peculiar areas of need as must have been ascertained with the help of a base line survey or need assessment.
a,“Pro- life and Prospective leadership” with the slogan- “Safe the Life of a Future Leader.
b,Project Joy Scholarship scheme (PJSs).
c,study advancement scheme for the indigent (SASI)
Educating to Prevent and Reduce abuse.
a. School based Anti- Drug and Substance Abuse Campaign tagged “Sensitization on The Effect of Drugs and Substance Abuse to a Sound Mind”.
b. Community based Anti- Drug and Substance Abuse Campaign tagged “Sensitization on The Effect of Drugs and Substance Abuse to the general wellbeing of an individual and the society at large”.
Provision of relief/ succor (Materials and Non Materials) to victims of different forms of disasters.
Materials relief including:
Food items; building materials; clothing; beddings; foot wears; farm inputs
Non materials relief including:
Counseling and Trauma Healing; medical support/ outreaches; trainings and
Safe- space.
Project- Direct on the needs (P-DONs)
Provision of safe water to communities facing challenges of access to potable water. Mainstreaming hand washing demonstration and promotion of good hygiene practice in our activities.
Facilitating discussions and activities that promote gender inclusiveness for an unbiased, participatory and effective leadership that will foster peace in our communities at all level.
Discovery and contributing to new knowledge for the basis of advocacy and development that will better humanity at a giving point over a period of time. Partnering and Networking with relevant Stakeholder, Organizations, Ministries, Agencies and Parastatals at the Local, State, National, Regional and International levels for learning, support and leveraging towards reducing poverty and general human development.
